The green roads in the Dordogne
Camping La Peyrugue is situated on such a green route through the valley of the Céou, a route designed for mountain bike rides in the Périgord Noir.
his marked trail uses charming little used local roads and roads, from Castlenaud-La-Chapelle on the Dordogne to “L’Abbaye Nouvelle”, a hamlet known from the community of Léobard located in the Lot on the Céou, that clear little tributary of the Dordogne. The green route in the valley of the Céou is suitable for newcomers as well as more experienced sportsmen and women. The route is one of the most beautiful green routes in the Dordogne.
Bicycle hire
You don’t have the possibility to take the bikes of the whole family with you?! No problem, it is possible to rent bikes here during your stay. Information is available at the reception, we will be happy to advise you about the bike rental.
Stroller rental for children
Don’t bother with the stroller, the campsite has one at your disposal. We advise you to book it well in advance.

You can cross the 220-kilometre-long “Périgord-Noir-Sud Dordogne” circuit in 3, 4 or 5 days by mountain bike, in 6 to 8 days by trail and in 8 to 10 days by foot.
